Yes, I still do have a blog. And, I am so sorry I have not been in touch. I just needed a vacation from all the technology that bombards us daily!!! I finally reached a point of true IO (Information Overload). My eyes wouldn't focus and I couldn't concentrate.......so

Anyway, I am back and missing that simpler, slower, unhurried life. But, it has inspired me to see if it is actually possible to shift into a lower gear, even if it's only once in a while.
Although, this distressed market has been hard on all of us, it has given me the opportunity to re-examine what I am really interested in and what else is out there. Maybe the building industry has seen the last of some of us.(?) For others, it's a time of laying low until the next boom, which is surely coming. One friend of mine left the industry and opened a pool supply business, and he couldn't be happier.
So, what is going on with you? What are you discovering about yourself now that you actually have time to think about it?
I now have a game plan, a vision, of where I see myself going.....where I want to go. I am taking on more consulting focusing strictly on "Behavioral Interviewing & Hiring With Your Head".
But, the real surprise for me is that I have found a new passion, and it's in the retail pet world. I have 3 loves of my life, (other than my husband, of course), my three dogs; Nikita (Siberian Husky), Lola, and Apollo (Alaskan Malamutes). I have been a pet lover and animal activist for many years, so what better industry to land in! I have a new patented pet training product that you might just be hearing more about soon. Amazing what a recession can do to spark your creative juices!
Anyway, just a little blurb out to you to say I am alive and ticking. Hope you are finding your way in all this industry sludge. Let me know what's up with you. Maybe I will post your experience in my next blog. Hmmm?
Take care and keep that light burning!
Ciao for now........
Suzanne
